What breed is this rooster?

I have tried to identify his breed but his traits do not match any breed. He has a orange-red hackles, and his saddle and abdomen feathers are mahogany red. The base of his tail feathers are brown and the sickles are black. The tips of his wings are also black. I thought he was a New Hampshire Red rooster but his comb is not a single one but a beautiful rose comb. His legs are white and his nails are grayish.
He has a Pea Comb not a Rose Comb.

As for a breed, he looks like a mix of breeds, some type of cross breed.

The reason I think he might be jungle fowl is because he is aggressive. I have two other roosters, one barred rock and one swedish flower, but they have never attacked me, not even when I picked one of them up to break up a fight. Gorgeous Russel Crow latched on to my foot once when I went to the patio to check on him. He was adopted from the shelter in San Diego so I do not have any background information on him. I took my daughter to the shelter to explore the possibility of adopting another dog since we're moving to the country side and noted that they had roosters for adoption. So I walked to the aviary section of the shelter and I fell in love with Russel when he came to the door of the cage to what I misinterpreted as a loving greeting because he lower his wing and did a nice dance for me at the time. Little did I know, as I took him home, that he does this nice dance just before attacking! He is pretty aggressive with the two pullets I have accompanying him now. It bothers me to have an aggressive rooster because I love my animals and my goal is to keep them happy and safe in their environment but this little guy is making it very challenging for me.

Quote: He's is probably either a RIR mix or New Hampshire red mix. Most likely New Hampshire because of the black tail.
Check your breeds, Rhode Island Reds also have Black tails.

Oops forgot. Well....maybe he has both RIR and New Hampshire.
But also the reason for thinking he has new hampshire because he's a lighter red.

From what I've just read, he seems to closely resemble the buckeye...with the red coloring, black tail and pea comb but a mix seems most likely considering he's built a bit different from the buckeye.
