How about a female ayam cemani to go with my rooster? I also would like some death layers because they are cool looking and have a hard core name. In other poultry, I would like a steinbacher goose because they have a beautiful silver color and just look amazing.

Funny you ask. I recently made a list! I have only 4 pullets right now (BO, BPR, Buff Brahma, White Cochin). I am getting silkies and a "hatchery choice" bantam in June. Not show girls, mind you. I am not that cool. Just hatchery birds. But here's my list:

• Russian Orloff
• Speckled Sussex (every time I order, I add one to the cart, then end up getting something else)
• Welsummer
• Auracana
• Houdan
• Serama
• OEG Bantam
• Ayam Semani or Svart Hona
• BLRW
• Campine
• Sapphire Gem

I have four chickens in my house right now while they get some more feathers on them. Ameraucanas and Lavender Orpingtons. I can legally fit 7 chickens on my lot, hopefully 8 if I apply for and get a zoning variance (I'm a measly 39 sq ft away from that 8th chickie!)

My wish list:
Svart Hona
Swedish Bluebar (an Isbar and Svart Hona mix)
Salmon Faverolles (if only they DIDN'T have feathers on their feet!)
Fauvaucanas (maybe some exist without feathers on their feet, somewhere)
Light Brahma (again with the feathered feets ruining a perfectly perfect chicken breed!)

I also have a soft spot for Silver-Laced Wyandottes. I didn't love the ones I had as a child as much as they deserved. If I can find a breeder who focuses on good temperament, I may have to get some of them.
