What Breed Should I Get?

What would you get?

Out of the breed listed, we only have a Speckled Sussex( Have Cuckoo Marans, an Austrolorp, GL Wyandotte and a New Hampshire Red). But the Sussex is definitely my fav among them, she's gotta funky lil attitude her. She's the most adventurous of our flock, if there's mischief happening she's usually in the vicinity. I guess what I'm saying is she has the most Out there personality of the flock. There are some other breeds I'd like to check out, but if I were getting a breed that we already have it would be a Sussex 1st or another Austrolorp just because she's been such a consistent layer.

I like wyandottes so slw gets my vote i will be breeding them after i use up my lav roos so they can go to freezer camp so i have room for them

Of the ones you've listed I have/had three of them:
  • Salmon Faverolles: Cute, fluffy, funny but scared of her own shadow. I like her a lot, but she's still young (3 months); hopefully she will be less flightly when she matures. She makes the weirdest noises and is the best "alarm chicken" of my flock.
  • Speckled Sussex: Hands down my absolute favorite of the dozen+ breeds that I've tried. She is absolutely gorgeous, for one thing, and she is also BY FAR the friendliest of all the breeds I've been around. I adore this girl and would love to have many more just like her. She's not the best layer (3-4 eggs per week), but she more than makes up for that in personality.
  • Silver Laced Wyandotte: NEVER, EVER, AGAIN. This evil witch screamed bloody murder every time I touched her. She was also an awful bully to every other bird in the flock, and I was very happy to see her leave when I sold her. She was an excellent layer. Another bird that was very much like her was my Buff Orpington. Both varieties are very popular here, but I wasn't a fan of either.
One breed that isn't on your list but I've been very happy with is my Lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiner. My pullet is only 2 months old right now, but she reminds me a lot of my Speckled Sussex: friendly, brave, and easy to manage.
