Welsummers are -supposed- to be autosexing. But I have heard that there are often issues where autosexing breeds aren't as clear as they're supposed to be.

I did mix up that they aren't barred, though. My bad on that.

You're right that the chick in question appears to be barred, which makes this even more confusing lol

LOL! That's an interesting idea! So long as it is female and gets along with everyone else, then I'll be happy.

I don't believe welsummers are autosexing, though you can tell earlier than most with them.
I did some research and this chick doesn't match any of those as it has green/gray legs.

As of now she is 23 days old. She still has the different markings around her face. The feathers have some lovely deep glossy browns and dark golds. No sign of a muff yet. However, I think I see the beginnings of feathers lower on the leg?

Golden cuckoo marans look significantly different as a chick than this one did which is what is throwing me off
