I have 17 EE's and that is my whole flock.

Is it the chickens nail part of the toe? For if its the nail- and also if it's just the toe you should use a gauze and apply pressure for about 5 minutes. You may even need to keep on going without checking it constantly. You can also coat the toe in cornstarch. I hope this is helpful.
