I ordered 3 black stars, an Easter Egger, an Olive Egger, and a Cuckoo Maran. I can only identify one Black Star in the group. The one with gray feathers and a black head is much fluffier and has wider feathers than the rest. She is quite standoffish. The multi gray one looks like a pigeon and runs in wild circles around the others. The two brownish ones have very sweet dispositions. Any ideas?

Mt. Healthy Hatcheries in Cincinnati area. Do you recognize any of the other breeds?

Pic one looks like a black star...same as a black sex link.
I have seen beardless EE's before....look for green legs.
I don't know if their olive eggers will be bearded, or have green legs so not sure but there may be one in there.
Depending on what they mix to get the stars there could be a LOT of red leakage so pic 2 might have the other black star.

I see an easter egger. The olive egger could be combination of several different breeds (usually a blue egg layer, crossed with a dark brown egg layer). You should try posting some close up photos of each bird in better lighting! I do not think they are game birds, but I agree I do not see any cuckoo marans either. :)

Which one is the Easter egger?
