I want some polish and silkies! Their size has kept me from them but one day when I don't have a house full!

Mine make regular classroom visits. They're no more unsanitary than a slobbering baby (and I happen to like holding babies, slobbering or not!) In a public place, they both wear diapers and, hopefully, have had a good bath before their visit. Actually the chickens are easier (at least mine are) because I keep them on a leash. You can't really do that with a baby! Can chickens really do that? I bet some people would say "Its unsanitary!". Thanks!
I know it isn't safe, nor feasible, to have ostriches. But I also know that ostrich farms exist. It's not going to happen; it is simply fun to imagine it. Going outside to feed ostriches, watching them forage and run about the land. Fun, in theory, though impractical.
Google them ... it's hysterical ... but they work! I line mine with a small pantiliner. It saves a lot of cleanup and makes them last longer.Chicken diapers!! LOL
That sounds wonderful!I would think it depends on your layout. Our tiny community zoo lets a flock of ostrich roam about freely. Last year there were about 6 itty bitties scampering behind a hen and it was adorable!
I just ordered my jersey giants. They ship next week.![]()
