I need help understanding what can cause a droopy comb in a cockerel.
Some info:
he is 11 weeks old. Right about 10 weeks his comb drooped over to the left, not all the way to touch his eye, but no longer erect.
He is a New Hampshire Red.
I have thouroughly checked for mites and lice - found nothing.
I have added organic ACV and alternating poultry vitamins to waterer.
I have fed a mash of plain probiotic yogurt, applesauce, grower feed, acv. once a day for 3 days now.
His normal diet is grower crumbles Dumor brand, and he free ranges. He sometimes gets treats :watermelon, lettuce, sunflower seeds, grapes, blueberries, zuccini, tomatoes, bread
His poop is normal.
His comb and part of his face is starting to look discolored, but I am not sure if it is dirt, I am going out there now to see if it washes off....
He seems kind of skinny, but I watch him eat and his crop is full at night and empty in the morning.
Please help, I am concerned and dont want to miss something that couldve helped him.
