what can you do to unfertile eggs from incubator??

one of sad things when incubating eggs is knowing that some eggs was not fertile. from several time incubate eggs, I almost always got 1/3 of total eggs that not fertile. usually I throw it or put it on nest box as decoy, but those two option is wasteful I think, since I don't want to put more than 1 eggs as decoy on 1 nest box.

so what other option can I do to those unfertile eggs ??
I usually only check the eggs on day 18 for chicken eggs, so I doubt it still edible to eat by human.

If you catch them in time it is perfectly OK to use infertile hen eggs for baking. I am unsure if it is still permitted but hatcheries routinely sold their clear eggs to go into food products.

I take them further up the mountain, break them open and leave them for the wildlife.

I candle on days 10 and 18. On day 10, if there are a few obvious clears I might boil them, mash them with the shells and feed them back as a protein boost.

On day 18 they just get chucked in with the compost.
