what causes curled toes?

    i have a silkie that i bought at an auction in the spring and she now trusts me enough that i can get a REAL good look at her, i noticed that she has curled toes...what causes this?

    It can be vitamin deficiency or a hatching problem.

    Incubation, genetic deformity, sometimes enviromental.. But usually it is incubation temperatures fluctuating.. Or so i hear.
