What color is this Coturnix?

I saw this coturnix on another forum and now have 7 with this color. They breed true and seem to pop up in hatches of golden and pharoahs. Anyone know what it might be? quaillady? Do I have a new color on my hands? I hope so

I have 4 like those, that hatched from some shipped eggs. They are only 4 weeks old, but the coloring is very close.

They look like Manchurian with wildtype still attached. Syble took those photos I believe? SHe is from Michigan.

It's just a golden!

Everyone who raises "Golden" may have this mutation....along with several browns, and sometimes white (Throw away birds)
Why does everyone who has some sort of different color pattern on a "GOLDEN" bird, feel the need to come up with a name for it? It tastes exactly the same from the frying pan.

You can not line breed golden with 90-100% results. It's a crap shoot at best.

I of course cannot speak for the posters birds, but seeing as its mine that were posted photos of, i can assure you they are not goldens (and so far incapable of throwing goldens)
