They seem to have plenty of small rocks...is that what you consider grit?This is likely your hen's fault she's in this pickle. She probably ate too much grass or weeds and all that cellulose was too much for her crop to deal with.
If your chickens are kept in a coop or run all the time and not permitted out to scratch around for grit and gravel necessary for digestion, then this is your fault if you haven't made grit accessible.
