what day to put duck eggs in lockdown?

I have 11 runner duck eggs in my incubator, and it is currently day 23 should I put them in lock down today or tomorrow?

I’m just one day ahead of you, day 24 here with some welsh harlequin eggs. I agree with @SilverBirds day 25 should be lock down. The only reason I would do any earlier is if you were to candle and you had some internal pips. I candled this morning and there was a little shadowing in one but that’s all so we should be on track for lock down tomorrow!

I agree with the other replies
Day 25 is lockdown unless you see internal pips a day or two early then you would start lockdown early
Posting babies pictures is a must after they hatch

Duck eggs take 28 days to hatch. Lockdown is 3 days before due date so the 25th day.

First to hatch, he’s doing really well and if the bill sexing is accurate he’s a boy and I’m thinking of Forest for his name

Second to hatch, doing good besides the spraddle leg. Also thinking boy by bill sexing. As far as a name I’m liking Gump since he’s got the leg braces
