What did you do in the garden today?

Good afternoon gardeners:frow

I've been busy in the coop the last couple of days. I've got a few hours of work left, but it's almost ready for the chicks to move in. Today was the first coat of whitewash, second coat plus a few touch ups first thing tomorrow morning.

The wind started picking up fairly early and it's been gusty this afternoon so I'm done out there for today.

Have a great day everyone :)

have to get a photo my tomato's are not that large or filled out
There's actually 4 plants in there, all currant tomatoes, I've been tying them up lately, I expect them to go to the top of that cage and work their way back to the ground. I may have to brace that cage.
So hot, sheared half of the great pyr, bless her. She hates it, after 5 minutes of thinking we're going somewhere the doledrums set in and then it's just random fidgets. Ran out of habitable temps, doing the other half tomorrow. Had to water the experiment garden, been two weeks since rain. Even the weeds are dying, and we're getting an infestation everywhere of these tiny black beetles that jump and make a clicking noise when they do. Something like 10 beetles per square foot, they're on each of the stepping stones. Still too hot to go take a pic. It's not supposed to get this hot until July. :hit
