What did you do in the garden today?

Hi everyone, just popping in to ask a question! I’m not a gardener, or know my plants, so it would be of great help if anyone can help me figure out what these little orange berries are. I live in central California and I have never seen these little items before...

Where in California are you? Is this a tree, bush, scrub? Any more info you can give me?
I'm looking. The closest I can find to this plant is Googling Bella donna family so far. A poisonous family. :sick

Just saw @BReeder! s post. Yes, same, same Bella donna/Nightshade. I'm feeling like this is the family from what I can see of the leaf, stem structure, seeds, and flowers. Don't eat, wash your hands till you find out exactly what it is.

We’ve found it already, it’s the Paraguay nightshade. It’s entirely poisonous and I’ve been careful with it. Thank you all for helping me figure out what the plant was. 👍🏽

Good morning gardeners. Yes, I did notice you all figured it out @LittleBrownie. I missed the blue potato post when I was reading it on my phone. Sorry. Looking forward to slightly warmer temperatures here. Thank goodness because I've been blowing through the pellets due to single digit temps in November and December. I've firmed up my shopping list for seeds and will likely order most from Jung seeds. I've decided to not go with broccoli and give the asparagus a go. I will be starting the seeds in March so they will be a nice size to plant outside near the end of April. Now I get to turn my attention to chicks. I need to add to my flock to cover the loss of the 3 RIR's. I'm looking to add another color to the flock. Sorry about the yellowing sealer on you fjord horse @WthrLady. That's so annoying when a product fails and you have to do a do-over. It still looks great in the picture. Good luck with your rodent problems @NHMountainMan. You'll figure it out. Have a great day everyone.

We have a gradual warming period beginning today and straight through next week. Upper 40's for today thru Sunday and mostly dry. Looks like the coastal storm that earlier might have hit us is staying further off shore. (I would have liked some snow but don't need more rain right now, ready to continue drying out.) I'm still exploring my johnny's catalog but my wife and I have made up our minds on a couple of varieties we are going to try. Have a great Friday everyone!

Morning gardeners just thought I would post some pics from my backyard for those of you who are sick of the snow. I wish everyone a great day👍. Glad those photos uploaded because I am presently without a computer so using the app.
:frow Aloha @AllenK RGV
Sorry about your computer issues. Hope it can get back up and running soon. I've noticed your absence. I hope all is good.

When I fed the horses this morning I heard barking in the area the trap was set. The chickens had eaten the cat food within hours of being set the other day. I planned on opening another can of cat food in the eve so as to have a better chance of attracting dogs b4 chickens but DH has been on horse duty for the last few days. LOVE his retirement... ;) today. So here she is, young and pregnant. The call to KHS has already been made.
