What did you do in the garden today?

I just finished making some tomatillo salsa. My hubby and I both agree that it needs something. But we don't know what that something is!
The ingredients were: tomatillos, onions, garlic, oregano, cumin, jalapenos, and lime juice. It did call for cilantro but I don't have any.
Any suggestions?
Salt and pepper. I sneak a but if oregano in sometimes too. Go eat with it though so it doesn't become some sort of Italian/Latin fusion sauce, not that it would be so bad but likely not what you're looking for. Another tasty add-in is avocado, and I say you cannot add too much avocado.

What's a miracle fruit tree? I have a bottle of green tea and miracle fruit but I thought the producers just didn't want to tell me what is in the bottle.
This is it I think.

Best to know what it is and the effect it has or you'll think something is wrong with your sense of taste of you as lemon to that tea you have. It will taste sweeter and not sour according to the experts (we can pretend that experts write Wikipedia articles).

This is the part I saw

The berry is on the EU list of novel foods, and requires a safety assessment before it can be sold as food or used as a food additive.[21] Since 2011, the United States FDA has imposed a ban on importing Synsepalum dulcificum (specifying 'miraculin') from its origin in Taiwan, declaring it as an "illegal undeclared sweetener".[22]

How weird! Thank you! I thought it was sweet because of stevia. I'm going to check it out further. Very cool.

Jeesh.
