???????Now come on good chance your going to live to see 90+, I know five people in their 90's two still do lite gardening. I do salad pots for my senior clients they water and pick the produce and attend to the flowers.
Haven't been able to work in the garden do to rain hopeful Wed. beds dropped two inches in soil from all the hard rains we've had this month. Mulch tomorrow with rabbit manure and grass clipping to bring help them back.
FLEA BEETLE: try floating row cover, DE, or trap crop mustard or radish
Ran water this morning. My bride picked peppers a few tomatoes and a zucinni a couple more crook necks too.
A trap crop is one you plant to give the pests something to munch on (hopefully, that they like better) so they'll leave the crop you want to harvest alone.???????
Politicalcenter: I hear you re: retirement. I'm tired too. Luckily, I only work per-diem now. My body couldn't take a full time load. But... oh how I crave my at home time. See and smell things growing. To hear the wind in the leaves of the trees, hear the birds calling to each other. And to interact with my flock, enjoy the garden: it's a balm to the soul!
