Smokerbill
Crossing the Road
I picked the large, lower leaves from my kale plants, and got quite a handful. Washed it, trimmed off the stem ends and stuffed the leaves into a gallon ziplock. It keeps really well in the fridge in the baggy.
I chopped up all the kale trimmings and cooked them in a greasy skillet with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and a touch of sugar. With 3 eggs on the side it was a great lunch!
