What did you do in the garden today?

Tornado warnings in my area last night. Have not heard of any damage yet. I woke up to blurry vision. Took an hour to clear up. Bloodshot eye. My good eye. I need to get it checked. I had a biopsy of a plantar foot wart yesterday. Now I have a sore foot. I have been trying to get rid of it for a year. Back in 1964 it was a burn off procedure that took maybe 10 minutes. One and done. Now it is a money maker of beetle juice and wart stick acid treatments. 5 times and still there a year later. Went from pea size to 1 inch. :he
I told them their best treatment was not the best as I had the best in 64.
Here is a link, it grows here in Germany, maybe also near you, it really helps against warts !

And usually you need to have patience for a bloodshot eye ( unless you have other underlying health issues) it takes weeks to clear up, but should be ok again, I know cos my brother-in-law had it, and I asked an ophthalmologist I am friends with, and that’s what he said

I am SO EXCITED... I was watering all my "winter sensitive" plants (those that are typically outside for the summer) in the sunroom and saw tiny little blooms on my Meyer lemon tree!!! :wee

This tree is 5 yrs old? 6 yrs old? I don't know... Lost count. But last year was the first time it has EVER produced a single flower... And it only produced ONE (no fruit). Looking closely at it today, it appears to have multiple flower sets on it! :celebrate

Now it's a legitimate question on whether this is ultimately a MEYER lemon or just a regular lemon. I've nearly killed this tree a couple of times and the current growth actually came up from the root ball. So it's possible if the Meyer Lemon was grafted that it died long ago and this growth is just a normal lemon variety which might also explain why it has taken its bloody time to actually flower.... ❤️❤️❤️

Apparently it's not common in this part of USA

I have a plantar wart. Been looking into homeopathic treatments. I had warts taken off my hands and feet every which way when I was a teenager.

Eye checked ok. A perk of old age I guess. Gave me eye drops to use before bed and when I get up. Said it is common to have trouble focusing when you first wake up. Probably meant old people. It took a hour to clear up this morning. I guess the eye was just red not bloodshot.
Got wildflower seeds in the mail. I will winter sow those.

I raked up a wheelbarrow load of maple and apple leaves and used them to mulch over the fourth and last raised bed. There were enough left over to mulch around my garlic plants, too.

Been thinking about my garden plan for the year. I've decided to add more fence around the garden, 5 or 6 feet away from the beds. That way I can let winter squash and tomatoes spill over the sides of the beds and give them more room to spread out.

I still have 2 or 3 weeks before I need to start any seeds indoors, so I need to organize (clean up) my seed starting shelves in the laundry room.
