It's not just me! LolI found an F350, long bed, crew max sized tomato horn worm today.... Literally, I was just out there yesterday and there was no sign of it.... I sacrificed it to the chickens. It was glorious.

Glory be to the traps I set. May they catch theGlory be to the chickens. We all need them to rid us and our gardens of the savage beasts that choose to try to take food out of our mouths
I have rogosa winter squash this year and we love it! The vine is a space hog thoHunted hornworms and found 4 yesterday. Suspect there is more, but only 4 of the plants show damage though.
The cowpeas are growing well-big flowers similar to a snapdragon. I planted 3 types, and one is more vining that the other two-the tendrils are wrapping up among themselves. The winds we had a few days ago knocked them over, so there they stay. One of the three varieties is starting to produce pods.
Summer squash: one variety, a new one this year, is so densely packed with stems, I can’t see anything in there, so I flipped the plant over and found only 1 squash -ok size, not too big. But, clearly a poor producer and too difficult to see anything, so I won’t be growing that one again. The other 4 types are producing well, so far. The other 4 are more typical in growth and would be good candidates for trellising, and chopping leaves below the squash.
Winter squash: tried a new butternut variety and it seems to be producing well. Another new variety is producing tons of leaves, not much in the way of flowers or squash though.
Thanks @chickengr for the info. I'm going to look around in my junk pile for something I can use to extend the trellis.they go down or horizontal to the other trellis if close enough.
