What did you do in the garden today?

I grow them in succession, I eat the radishes and the chickens love the greens

Thank you for sharing. I'm so happy they're doing good. Do you know at what age I can put my ducklings outside? They really stink and I am not okay with it so I'm trying to figure out when.

at about 3 weeks they start getting proper feathers. if it is cold at night put them in a cage with straw and without water. you can wrap the cage with nylon if it is too cold. at day time they should be fine.

I went to buy some potting soil and came back with lettuce and seedlings: 5 tomatoes and 2 eggplants. they had green peppers only so I didn't buy them as I don't like the taste (they remain green, no idea which variety it is). I am growing tomatoes and peppers from seed, these I got is just to have some before mine start fruiting.

Likewise only eaten radishes raw. Now I’m curious, what dish requires them cooked?
I tend to burp after eating raw radishes so I pretty much quit growing them. I've roasted them but they're not my favorite that way either, although roasting takes out the "burp" for me.

I am attempting to grow daikon radishes this year, mainly for entertainment. It'd be cool to grow a 24" long radish. I think daikon is typically cooked before eaten.

G’morning gardeners. All I’m doing is watering at this point. Some of the corn is tall enough to fertilize so will get that done today and more work on the yard. It’s getting pretty toasty by late morning so I can only do a few hours before I start feeling it. That’s fine, I have canning projects to get done too.

I have never ever managed to cook daikon. I start eating them fresh and cannot stop, lol.

do you grow corn in pots or outside? I should probably sow corn early as they don't grow in heat.
