What did you do in the garden today?

Bleh. I definitely remember getting super sick as a kid sometimes and I didn't go see a doctor. I went through mono not even knowing I had mono. Now I know better. If you see blood when you cough, go to a doctor. Heck, if you have a problem you feel unsure about at all, go to a doctor. I'm trying to remind myself that it's OK to see a doctor if you're sick.

Not going to see doctors and toughing it out is such a bad practice. I even know people in boyscouts who are troop leaders. It's what let my mum's cancer go undiagnosed until it was lethal. She was like "Eh, whatever, who cares if there's blood where there shouldn't be? Detox cleanse at home. No money, no doctors, no matter how bad it gets." Fast forward a long while (about a year!) and the doctors were giving her six months without treatment, 3 years with. She made it 5, but they did mention it was probably curable if they'd caught it sooner.

It lingers, ya know? It's a constant reminder of what happens when you don't get problems checked out. Now I try to go see doctors, even if I think I could get better at home if I just toughed it out, if I can then I go see a doctor. Better safe than sorry.

Sorry Mouse, that is sad! One of my Aunts had bowel problems and did not seek help soon enough. They cut her open and found her just full of cancer. There was nothing that could be done at that point. She was such a kind person, country to the bone. A great loss.
Considering buying a herd of rabbits and their shelter. Ya, i am nuts but would be a great fertilizer factory!

Oh Penny I hope you feel better soon.

I have a weird spot on the side of my nose that I have been ignoring for nearly 2 years.
I tried googling it the other day. I did not find anything that looks like it.
I have a Dr. appt. on the 25th I guess I will as what it is. lol I might need to know.

I'm a ding. I posted that with an unfinished thought in the middle. Supposed to be; "I even know people in boyscouts who are troop leaders. One of the first things they teach is to never ever tough it out if you are feeling hurt or sick because you could put yourself or your troop in danger. Always seek medical care."

Thanks Cap. You know what I'm talking about then. Better safe than sorry.
Chickadoodles; I'm actually really paranoid about skin spots. :p I have gotten a lot of sunburn in my lifetime and my hide is a shiny white so I get concerned. If you've got an appt anyhow, might as well ask to be safe!

My latest sign...
