Ouch--that sounds painful! Hope it's not broken.
Morning glories are actually the least of my problems around here. I've got Virginia Creeper, which strangles my pine tree, and worst of all, Confederate Jasmine. That stuff, dang. It smells really nice when the little white flowers bloom, but it takes OVER, covering fences, strangling veggies. So hard to keep ahead of it. Irritating as all get out.
Didn't do to much in the garden this weekend. Got to go out on the boat with some friends on Saturday--perfect to go to one of the islands and chill.
I did transplant some of my naranjillas into bigger pots. Man those thorns are vicious and glove-piercing. Also picked enough blackberries for my yogurt and used the first atomic grape tomatoes in the aforementioned blt. They're good, the only problem is that it takes approximately forever for them to develop the red and orange streaks. If I eat them when they're just green and purple they don't have much flavor.
All the herbs are doing great--the stupid bunnies don't touch those. I've got lemon balm, flat-leaf parsley, thyme, dill, fennel, garlic chives, basil and oregano in the raised beds, and mints, pineapple sage, chives, lemon thyme, thai basil, lime basil, tarragon and lemongrass in the driveway. The bunnies (one big, two little) ate my bush beans down to stubs, the little wretches. I keep telling the chickens to sic 'em, but they don't listen. My dog is basically blind, so he wanders right by them. Sigh.
