What did you do in the garden today?

I feel like I have known some of you for a very long time and I want to let you know about some tragic news in my life. An administrator can take to us down if they need to.
On Mother’s Day my 35 year old son tried to kill himself by dousing himself with gasoline and setting it on fire.
He has 3rd degree burns over 65 to 73% of his body. We don’t know if he will make it or not. If he does he will be in the burn unit if the hospital for at least 3 months and then have extensive rehabilitation after that.
My only gardening was trying to remember to water the r basil and cilantro I’m growing from seed. And I need to put some butterfly weed roots that the one company resent me.

Lord, You promise to bring good from any situation for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. I ask for that right now. And for those who have not yet loved You, I pray that this would be what draws them to You so that they would know Your Love, Comfort, and Mercy and that ultimate healing will be theirs with You forever.

I watered the garden and dug up two more wheelbarrows of dirt/mulch/weeds in a garden pathway. After I lay landscape fabric and drop gravel that will be both if the major pathways done. Then it's on to working around the raised beds. I really need to get working on tearing down the shed and building the new one soon too.

I’m so sorry to hear that. My friend killed himself four years ago, it was hard on me then. I bet your son means so much more to you than just a friend, I hope he will be ok.
