Wish we could see them! They sound like beauties! And how nice that you have one visiting! I had an Ameraucana rooster that was like that from birth. Just super brave and curious and wanted to be where I was. He was the most wonderful boy till his hormones hit.
I’m sorry your RIR boys are being so bad! Last night I let out my Cooplex teens and the Ducky’s and two of the teenage boys hanged up on Ducky Jr. and they no doubt would have murdered him unsupervised. He’s molting something fierce and not managing it well, so he’s pale and hunched up and a bit thin. They saw major weakness and beelined straight for it! They better watch it because I have low tolerance for that stuff too—they will go to auction in a heartbeat if they keep doing that to my sweeter birds. It’s especially frustrating cuz one of them I’m very excited about for breeding. He’s a gorgeous satin boy!

I hope you are able to manage with the lipomas. My husband has a few of those and has had a couple removed. Most of his are small but the one in his arm started getting annoying and now he has a small hole in his skin from having it taken out! I empathize trying to do chicken chores when you have debilitating issues or pain—my back just hasn’t been the same since I herniated a disc partially and some days it’s just too much. And I HATE not being able to do things my way when I want them done.
Hope everyone cooperates today!
