Hi All,

I have a Janoel 12, which has an automatic turner. However, I still freak out about leaving the incubator without checking the temperature and making sure the eggs have actually turned enough! What should I do if I must go away this weekend? I am nearly positive you should never transport incubating eggs...... What do you suggest? Should I have my neighbor come check on them?

Am I just being a helicopter mom? lol

thank you!!! Happy almost friday!

From someone who has made a transportable incubator and taken eggs in the car: leave them home. Its a lot less stressful.

i wend out of town for the weekend a couple days before hatch day just added extra water and for got about it came back all of them are ok dont get too worried about leaving them its not as sensitive of a process as everyone says

Thank you! I was with them last night and then I will be back with them early tomorrow morning. I am just nervous because it is day 22 today and everyone says the last week is the most dangerous for them.

Does anyone have any hatching tips for this final week?
