If it's legal thereSo in theory, I can capture pigeons from my local park (there are lots of them!) and condition them to stay in my loft by time, feeding, and training?

It is legal to collect and keep pigeons in all of the US. They are a invasive species, and have no protection what do ever. so you don't need to double check laws, as long as you are not in private property. If it's legal there
Really? My town/city/whatever it is now doesn't let us. They consider them their propertyIt is legal to collect and keep pigeons in all of the US. They are a invasive species, and have no protection what do ever. so you don't need to double check laws, as long as you are not in private property.
Well, are they not allowing it in city property? Or everywhere? They can stop it in their property, but if it's public, you can catch them. why do they like them? Most would can't stand them.Really? My town/city/whatever it is now doesn't let us. They consider them their property
I don't think they like them either. They live under our underpass in the middle of town but we got in a lot if trouble when we went to catch some. Were threatened with fines if we did it againWell, are they not allowing it in city property? Or everywhere? Thats pretty silly of them. If I were you I’d find a different underpass in a different townI don't think they like them either. They live under our underpass in the middle of town but we got in a lot if trouble when we went to catch some. Were threatened with fines if we did it again
Huh... Well, was the land private or public? If it was private, you probably shouldn't have caught any. But, always wear nicer clothes, and be willing to explain what you are doing if asked. But, go ask some farmers, and they will know someone with a barn who will give you a few.I don't think they like them either. Public land. We are the farmers in my area. Oh well. I do my best to just avoid our enforcers here.Huh... Well, was the land private or public?
