I just use these chicken waterers and a nail a metal dish over them because otherwise the pigeons sit on top of them and load it with poop in less than an hour.

I like to use the 1 gal. plastic milk jugs. Cut a hole about 3-4 inches above the bottom so they can stick their head in to drink. I'll use one for a few weeks, then recycle it and make a new one. I put a tablespoon or so of apple cider vinegar in the water. This promotes gut health and retards the growth of bacteria in the water. I give fresh water everyday.

I was just wondering how close you are because my loft is small and at max capacity so I can only let my birds hatch babies if I know they have a home to go to. Otherwise I swap their eggs for fakes.

What breeds do you have? I don't want mine making hybrids so I have been careful not to keep unpaired birds of different breeds together. I am willing to take and able to drive to pick them up whatever breeds they are though. How many pigeons do you think can fit in my loft? Its 8 feet tall if that matters at all.

What's the length and width?
My birds are all racing homers, except for two feral hens not allowed to hatch their own eggs. Currently I have 2 ash red split for blue, young birds that have not flown outside the aviary. They are about 3 months old, siblings and both cockbirds. If they would be of interest to you let me know. My advice is to try to keep a balance of cocks and hens.

The black saddle homer that I have is a hen, I would be interested in at least one of the cocks. Do you have any pictures?

Although I'm very much a noob to Pigeons I think wild, Feral Pigeons are a beautiful sight! I just love their freedom. They just look so happy with the other pigeons. Where ever I'm at I see them flying with their friends & I love to just watch them from a distance.

Denver has alot of these around, someone actually goes around dropping huge piles of Birdseed for them to eat everywhere. (How wonderful this unknown person must be.)

Whenever I see an "Alone" pigeon I can't help but sadly wonder if it lost it's mate somehow-

Although Life is so cruel sometimes I don't think I could ever contribute to any harm to these flying little angels as just seeing them happy together with their friends creates a warm spot in my heart & makes me happy in itself-
