Thats too bad. It sounds like you really want things to work. I see that alot in my line of work, and i see the one who wanted to see it work end up finding someone they are more compatible with and living happily ever after. I could tell you stories my friend. I hear things i cannot believe anyone would be telling me such personal info. But i love the happy endings. As long as you can be happy with yourself, you will be fine no matter what.......that is the truth and base everything from there

Yep seems she has made up her mind now to leave...i guess in a way it is an end to the emotional rollercoaster but still it will be hard for sure. 20 years is a hard thing to let go of... anyways im a big boy ill be just fine eventually im sure.

They're not dewlap, but will be the second year for them. She sat on a nest until a blizzard chased her off this spring. My guineas are pearl, pied, purple, buff, blue, bronze and one really neat tri-colored hen.I'd be more than happy to trade anything I have. I'm getting silkie, serama and guinea eggs(sporatically) right now. But the house fire took all my incubators with it. So I'd have to take a rain check for return on eggs.
So for the people that don't have eggs right now,I could send them and you could return the favor in the spring.

I called my PO today and she said "well I dont know how shipping hatching eggs will work because they will be dropped about 4ft at one drop and 5 or 6 ft at another on the machines and they could have something that weighs 50 pds put on top of them" .. so I figure that means to package them VERY well.. and it also explains my very bad hatch rate with shipped eggs..

Count me in for spring swapping if anyone is looking for WC Black or Blue standard Polish. Will trade for same or bantam silkie eggs.

have to keep this on the firs page!!! does anyone know the cost of shipping bantie eggs and how long can they stay in the box and still be good to incubate?

Around $8- $10.00 dollars per dozen with the express shipping box. Should set your eggs before 10 days old.If they're held at optimal temps and turned daily.
