What do you do with extra eggs?

I actually don't eat many eggs myself bur I love having chickens. The feed store was selling farm range eggs for 3 bucks a dozen but I enjoy giving mine away.

My nephew said the nicest thing when he visited a few weeks ago. He said that he couldn't tell the difference between supermarket eggs and eggs from the farmer's market but that my yokes tasted like...he paused...sunshine. I know why. My hens are free range.
I guess my taste buds have been seared by to many hot peppers and Tabasco. I cannot tell the difference between farm fresh free range eggs or cage raised. I always assumed that was a marketing ploy so farmers could make extra money at farmer's market.
Of course I have to admit in sixty five years, I have never had a bad meal. So maybe my pallet is not so discerning

Ok, how so you make powdered eggs??
Hi, there are a number of ways to make them.
1. There is a way that uses a blender, a dehydrator, and a coffee grinder.
2. They can be made using a skilet, along with a blender or egg beater.
3. Another method uses the blender and slow bakes them on a cookie sheet in your oven.

Never add anything to the eggs including oil, milk, cheese, chives, salt, etc.

These recipes are all on line and some are demonstrated on YouTube.

Powered eggs last a very long time.

I've even seen kids in scouting programs make these for use later on when they participate in some primative camping.

We do occasionally feed back boiled eggs to the chickens. Do you know if it’s fine to feed chickens raw egg?
I would avoid feeding raw eggs to chickens as they may develop a taste for fresh egg right from the nesting boxes.

Before homesteaders had feed stores nearby where they could stock up on chick starter and other balanced poultry feed, the people would hard boil eggs. They then crumbled them into a very fine feed. This was given to baby chicks. Soon the eggs would be done differently and oatmeal would be added to the crumbled eggs.

So if you have lots of eggs, you could hatch some and then get the chicks started by feeding them a diet of hard boiled egg the way some if our great grandparents did.

My palate is generally very good but I admit I can't taste the difference between my own homegrown, organic fed fresh eggs and a 99-cents-a-dozen grocery store egg. How it looks and behaves while cooking is different - I can tell as soon as I look at them which is which - but if you just scramble it and feed it to me with my eyes closed, I honestly can't tell the difference. :hmm

I don't think I would. Haven't actually heard one way or another.
I just crack a couple dozen in a pan and hit'em with my tater masher and stick'em in the oven for a bit.
Havr put a couple dozen in the wife's blender, when it was ready to be cleaned anyway. And I was in a hurry. Then pop'em in the oven while I finish dishes and cleaning blender.
I bet you could nuke'em just as easy.
