We are new chicken parents as of this last march and we said we would start with 8 chickens... This is what we have :

Chickens:
3 ameraucana
3 buff orp (1 is a rooster)
3 black australorp
3 delaware
2 welsummer
1 Easter egger

Turkeys:
2 chocolates
2 Holland whites

Guineas (arriving in 2 days):
2 light blues
2 lavenders
1 white
1 pearl

future flock addition wishlist:
Iowa blue, lavender orp, lavender ameraucana, silkies, chukars...

All our chickens were handled pretty equally but the friendliest is honey, our buff orp that always comes over for a hello snuggle

I started with rabbits in a small chicken coop. When they got old and died I wanted chickens. Because of the size of the coop I choose Dutch BantamS in different colours.
Now I have 9 dutch bantams:
1 Lavender chick/mother
1 partidge chick/mother
1 pyle chick/mother
and 6 dutch chickies of 8 weeks old (3 black,2 partridge, 1 pyle)

We started last year and have:

Barred rock
Black sex link
Easter egger
2 buff orpingtons

I'd really love to add some more, but am maxed out on coop space. That's probably a good thing, as I'd have 20 if I could and I have a small suburban yard.
