What do you think of my first try at duck coop?

Can I suggest adding a way for the webbed feet to grip ,he ramp as they go in?

I put a ramp to my pool and see their feet slide a bit. I am thinking of using boat carpet or that tread grip tape stuff.

Yeah! I was thinking about a solution for that actually! I just dont want to get something that might hurt their little webbed feet.. What do you think of those Stick-on non-slip pads for furniture? we have some of those laying around..

I think the grip tape is a better solution since it is indoor/outdoor.

Also, just for reference here is the 10x10ft dog pen. I haven't predator proofed it yet so they are only aloud out when supervised 20200527_165415.jpg

Is that where the little "A" frame duck house will go? And then with the tarp over it that should work great. If you put HWC at least 3-4' up all along the sides of that dog kennel it will keep the predators from reaching through the chain link, grabbing a duck then pulling it piece by piece through the holes in the fence. You might want to put hwc along the bottom of the fencing too so they can't dig under it.
