Let me start by saying you have done a hugh amount of work and I admire anyone who can do this web stuff!
It looks very proffessional and bright.
Sadly, I am a creature of habit and tend to stay in my own comfort zone - this new format,
for me at least with a vision disability, is too busy, pages feel cluttered with stuff I don't use to get my information from the postings,
and it feels difficult to get around in.
I don't see much use for the right-side column of the pages - looks too much like a facebook clone.
i like easy-to-find and simple.
I'm going to give it a few more try's.... but I doubt I'll be using this site daily like I was.

Holy cow! I see what you mean. Yay, I totally agree. You can just pop right to where you last posted.

Now, if I can just figure out how to mark a thread as "read". I never did that with the old site. Is that when you can mark a thread from where you last left off reading?

I hate it! All the comments are cut in half
and you can't read them.
It's like one page is over lapping the other.
Very claustophobic.

I don't know if it will help anyone but in your profile under edit account, there's a box that has "View Forums Full Width

If you haven't tried that yet, look and see if it help. I know this has probably been mentioned, but thought I'd add it just in case.

I kind of like this new format...except for the stuff on the sidebar.

• If there MUST be a "Currently Viewing" thingamajig that should be near the bottom (although I don't care for it).
• The reviews are cluttering the page. I don't need to see reviews of breeds all the time and there's already a tab for it on the top nav bar.
• The white should be toned down too.

Other than those three complaints, I actually like the new platform and I think I'll try playing around with it some more.

There are a lot of great things, a lot of not so good things and a few horrible. For me, BYC is just about useless without the auctions. There are a lot of poultry sites with chatting forums, but BYC filled the void when eggbid.com closed.

Without the auctions, I won't be renewing my platinum unfortunately.

I feel really bad saying these things because I know that Nifty and staff have spent a lot of time and probably money with this new platform.
