I would like to see a date for the original post in the list (by the OP's name).

Also, I don't mind uploading my pics (and will probably be upgrading to GFM for more space soon) but I would like to have folders to organize my pics.

Now that's what I'm talkin about. I just recently searched the whole site trying to figure out how to do it. I was finally told straight out, "YOU CAN'T DO IT!" Spent some time on the computer on that day lol..... Yes, being able to delete your own old posts seems like it should be a given. Especially when you are new and trying to figure things out, Now just 3 short weeks later I look back and say to myself "well that was a dumb question to ask", but now I am stuck with it......

I apologize if this has already been mentioned, but what about a general "library" section where people can post information on or links to interesting / informative articles they have come across and the good basic books or articles on flock maintenance can be found.

How about being able to upload a avatar pic bigger than 100x100 ?????
and an FASTER way to upload pictures it takes way to long

How about reconsidering the way things are sorted under "recent posts". Right now I think they are sorted by last post time. I think it would be better to de-emphasize that because people can always subscribe to a post if their interested in recent activity on a thread.

Instead, maybe emphasize number of posts and allow postings with few responses to sort higher. This would help make sure postings get some responses and don't just get lost with the high volumes and trickle down the list out of sight without any responses.

I second the motion for a "how to" section that would make it easier to find ideas/solutions on a variety of topics, like feeders, waterers, latches, etc.

One thing I see coming up over and over again is "where are you located'

Constantly new members come on here with a question like 'where can i find chicks' , do i need insulation in my coop, anyone have any chickens for sale, what predator was this, etc" All questions needing a geographical location and then numerous posts of people asking where they are?
I wish that when signing up it was mandatory to have to put your location, maybe not city but at least state and maybe north, south, east or west. i know that it was asked of members to add this to their profile recently, but maybe making it part of the signup process would at least have all the new members with a location.
