He wasn't too enticed by the food in my hand. He seemed slightly more interested in the toy, but still didn't take. So I'm going to sit next to his little spot and just wait him out. I think he's actually falling asleep.

Yep, no worries. We have a few hours before we have to put him in the crate, too. He is falling asleep right here in front of me. It's like he's not scared of me, but he's scared of the new space maybe?
