I’m sure age will! Just enjoy it! One of my favorite things about Dobies is the high energy and drive. SOOO much potential!! You are going to be able to do some really cool stuff with him. It is going to be fun!

I'm hoping, he's always so distracted which makes it hard. He also gets too hyped with treats but if I use lower value he's not interested at all. Toys are way to distracting too....
I'm hoping to get him into dock diving and fastCAT or lure coursing...maybe even flyball

I'm sure ShrekDawg will be happy to hear that Dachshunds are cute! Do you have a preference of color or hair length? I can't wait!

I like short haired but long haired is okay and a light brown or walnut brown color. If you search up Charles Leclerc's dog, Leo, that's the dog that I was thinking of. I even like the first picture of the Dachshund on the grass on Wikipedia.

If you turn the lower value treats into a game it helps. Throw them to activate prey drive or hold it in your hand and tease him with it to frustrate him and make him want it more. That is the only way Chase will take his kibble from me, even if he’s hungry.
