What Dog Breed Do You Want Today!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I would honestly love to meet one! Almost no one trains their little dogs. It's like not training a miniature horse.
Yes yes yes. Most people I know with small dogs treat them like an accessory, if a big dog acted the way  most small dogs act(because of their owners) they'd be deemed out if control or even dangerous. Mini horses too, I have one I trained and he's just as well behaved as my big horses.

Okay, thanks! That's more or less what I've been doing.
It usually takes a couple of weeks with a new pup before a new routine gets established. That first week is always rough. Sometimes the second week too, but usually by week 3 we hit our stride. Consistency pays off. Establish good behavior right away. Don't allow teeth on skin, and stop playing if the pup gets too riled up. Tiring them out is important, but so is teaching them to lay calmly is too.

Gone from crying in the crate to happily laying in the sun chewing on the house line after a potty break, lol.
Maybe my constant attempts to play have been making him too uppity?
Playing can make a puppy overstimulated.
Ive learned a lot from a dog thats reactive, fearful of lots of things and gets overstimulated easily

I’ve heard they are lol
I saw a video of a guy doing tricks with his and the chihuahua was heeling offlead in distractions, sitting, staying, coming, weaving through things. Never seen one so well trained. But i bet they are awesome when well trained.

I think id accidentally step on a small dog not on purpose but Tucker likes to get right behind my feet and tripped me before.

Yeah most small dogs are so untrained its ridiculous.
My aunts yorkie knew a few tricks but was behaved, he knew not to jump, bark at you unless someone was at the door, and was good on and offlead. Its the only small dog i knew with any training.
