I want an Alaskan. I’ve heard they’re somewhat more loyal/devoted and listen better than Siberians and can be off leash LOLYes the drive and wandering + the howling.

Ive never met a Malamute. But i know a husky personally and he wanders at every chance he gets. They live out on acreage. But he does always returnI want an Alaskan. I’ve heard they’re somewhat more loyal/devoted and listen better than Siberians and can be off leash LOL

We had one. She didn't wander, but had a lot of separation anxiety, and a high prey drive. She even tried to kill the goats. She also was able to flush and kill a pheasant when she was out on a horse ride with me once. She was good girl.I want an Alaskan.
