I deviated from my “dream dog” for a while, and really enjoyed my McNab, the rescue mutt that we took in when mom moved to a care home, and the Springer Spaniel that adopted is when we moved into our home-

I’d certainly have another McNab, but.
I don’t think I’ll ever seek out anything other than a Vizsla.

…..even though we have birds on the property, and, yes, he does occasionally hyper focus on them- esp if he’s not well exercised.
The birds are all in well secured pens and tractors, and he is never unsupervised when he’s “around” them.

Even if we are out and about and he happens on a fledgling- he scoops it up and brings it to me unharmed.
We have worked a lot on his soft mouth, and his breeders gave him a -wonderful- head start

For example, I want a second dog (a friend for Brew) and I go back and forth on what that second dog should be A LOT. LOL TODAY????? I want that second dog to be a female Labrador Retriever. Any color.

Your answer does NOT have to be as specific as mine. You don’t have to mention gender or color. But you can if you want to. LOL

I would love to have another brindle pit like our Bruno who is no longer with us! He was so sweet. Loved our smaller dog and the cat! And the grandkids? He loved it when they were around. But we took in a rescue, a four n half pound Chihuahua and hubs is afraid a bigger dog would hurt him. Not intentionally but...so today I would love a Pit.
