Yeah, but his adolescence started basically as soon as he came home at 8 weeks, to when we rehomed him at a bit under 2 years.

Adolescence can last to at least two years so that part isn’t really surprising to me BUT! I AM surprised it started so early as usually it doesn’t start till like 6 months.

Yeah, we werent expecting him to start that early. But as soon as he came home he was into everything.

We thought he was the calmer pup because the other puppy was ripping up paper. But nope as soon as he came home he found out how to get into anything

Amazing breed. Friendly, playful, smart (and stubborn), with a healthy amount of velcro-ness. Content to sit next to you on the sofa, versus my Pug, who practically wanted to crawl into my mouth. And they don't shed!

That just sounds like a typical puppy especially a retriever puppy. They are terrors until like at least 3 or sometimes 5
