What Dog Breed Do You Want Today!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Once my two I have now are gone, I want a Belgian Malinois. I absolutely adore my dogs, a German Shepherd and a Doberman/GSD mix, but I want a dog of similar temperament but is smaller with a shorter coat. I live in Florida and the climate is not tailored for dark hairy dogs. And I only want one dog as I know a mal will keep me more than busy, and it’s just so much easier to go do things with just having to take along one dog. But we’ll see how that pans out, my two aren’t spring chickens but they still have plenty of life left at respectable ages of nine and seven.

I love Mals!!!!!!!!!!

I'll take another today too. I'm assembling my puppy crates, and it reminded me how my Aussie Sunny would have to jam her big butt into any crate I put together. She sure could jam herself into some hilarious predicaments. She was always making me laugh with her antics. I really miss her. 💕

My cousin is getting an Aussie pup as an emotional support animal soon! I can't wait until he's trained enough for her to bring him up to visit!
I've had 4 so far. They are fun dogs as long as you remember they are bred to push cattle and think for themselves, so there's always some negotiations as far as who's in charge with an Aussie. They are happy if you are, but will eagerly take the lead if allowed. It's why people have troubles with them. They do best with not too much coddling, and make sure you explain everything to them.

Sunny used to have to take daily pills for various things. She fought me me for weeks until one day I explained what each pill was for, and she let put each in her mouth without clamping shut. So from there forward I explained every day what the pills were for, and she was fine.

I have lots of Aussie stories. They are amazing dogs for the right people. :)
