Well if I had personal experience with dobies then I maybe would have chosen them but alas. The goofiest dogs with strong work ethic that I've ever spent time with are huskies.

If you want a goofy dog that also knows when it's time to work, huskies are one of the best imo. They're such characters. Of course they come with their own set of challenges (they're willful and independent, high energy, high prey drive) but once they're working they are completely in the zone, and they love it.
