What Dog Breed Do You Want Today!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I have Pits-I know it's controversial not trying to cause any fights just my preference. I think I'd stick with more of them however I'd love to explore German Shepherds, I think they're so cool! I've always wanted a little dog too so maybe a Maltese one day!

Why in the world would you think you’d start a fight? 😭 surely we don’t seem that mean 🫣 I love pits

Are they good with chickens?
They can be great farm dogs. My mini (only a year old) occasionally tries to chase a loose chicken but he's really quick to listen when I correct him even though I haven't dedicated time to train him with them, he just follows me into their coops all the time and sniffs around. I will say he flipped out when I was being attacked by a rooster and he probably would have gone after it had he not been locked out.
My standard Aussie was never exposed to them before living on a farm (around 8yrs old) and for about two years they drove her insane, she killed several of them until she was tethered out by them and she eventually quit caring, they even dust bathed in the holes she dug. I think she was way more neurotic than your average dog because if ANYTHING new was introduced to the farm she had a manic episode that led to her tearing a mattress apart, pooping everywhere, screaming her head off, and hyperventilating until she got used to it. Whenever something was moved from its usual spot or escaped its pen she lost her ever loving mind, but she was very smart and eventually got over it. She only represents a small portion of Aussies who have extreme OCD though and your average Aussie is way more chill, their intelligence makes it easy to train even the oldest of dogs out of bad behaviors. They're my #1 pick for a good all around farm dog, they're just so darn smart and I think they have the best sense of humor.

I have a Pit Bull😄
He's a TERRIBLE farm dog, but that's on me for getting a pit who is maybe only one generation removed from the fighting ring, both of his parents were a little too aggro (his mother wasn't even fit to be around people) so I'm just happy that he's the goodest most loyal boy and I'm okay with not being able to undo centuries of breeding for high pretty drive with milk bones, he just is what he is😅
