Well I kinda agree with them on that one! LOL!!

I know!! I burned the whole batch and had to throw out the pot. It was a long shot, but I don't have a garbage disposal.

Mine dont like cooked oatmeal, but they like it raw. My EE loves grapefruit, and cooked rice, the redxlink not so much, just thinks she should cuz the other chicken likes it.
They wont eat lightning bugs either.

If they eat lighting bugs will their eggs glow?

Mine are young, and don't get many treats yet, but they really didn't care for musk melon or tomatoes. They had a lot of fun digging through the mowed grass today though.

And I have been wanting fried green tomatoes for awhile but I can't find green ones.

My old hens love watermelon. They would eat pretty much anything.

New chicks? They won't eat: watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, peas, anything green, anything yellow, anything red, anything hard, anything crunchy, anything too soft, anything that looks funny, anything pie, anything that's remotely appealing, anything sweet, anything sour, anything with carrots, and raisins.

However, they do like canned fruit (in light syrup, of course), huckleberries, and bran muffins. Healthy chicks?

Mine love everything!! Lettuce, tomates, egg plant, bread, watermelon, grapes, cantaloupe, leftover mac n cheese, leftover hamburger helper, just about anything!!

Ours are 6 weeks old and love grasshoppers, will decimate a cantaloupe (our garden is producing a few a day at the moment, and we give the chicks the rinds after we eat them), do a pretty good job on tomatoes.

They ignore lettuce and most green veggies, and didn't do much with the 3-week old granola bars that got handed to them a couple days ago.

Handing them meal worms was far from as eventful as hoppers, and we have redworms for some time this week.
