What exactly is this "egg song" everyone is talking about?

Oh, it's very distinctive, and you can clearly hear the "BA-GAWK" at the end of each stanza.

Oh! I heard Heddie do that yesterday, but she hasn't laid another egg since the first one 2 days ago! It was so funny! My 3 year old son said "That's so loud for my ears!"

Mine just started laying a week ago (5/19 that is). I had NO CLUE what the racket was. I even posted a note here on the forums stating they were "talking to me" ... well ... little did I know they were getting ready to lay eggs. When you hear the squawking going on ... you WILL know it is either a fight, a predator or an egg on the way. I've gotten to where I LOVE the song.
