North Texas - chickens 10 yrs
It vanished. Fortunately I copied and pasted some of the tips into a word file. Stuff like how to assess a chickens health by looking at her comb, her feet and her eyes. Useful stuff. Granted it was a bit of a radical thread. It wandered around a bit and discussed whether wolves cross-bred with coyotes. But it was a lot of fun. I actually read on BYC several times a day because it was here. Guess I'll get a lot more computer WORK done now.

Didn't know it got ugly...

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't smart enough to print those things I wanted to go back and reference. I didn't have any idea BYC would do that or I would have printed every day. Best thread on the site.

I picked up a lot of info there, but since I'm just building my first coop, I thought I'd come back later for the info on feed and care of the chicks. So much of this site is social it was nice to have on thread dedicated to overall info. Guess I'll go back to the library for some not as valuable book learnin'.

What a bummer. I was still taking notes.

Sometimes when learning something new I know so very little about the subject, I don't even know what questions to ask.
Just listening to OT chat is an education. I took some advice from that thread that is most timely and meaningful. Thanks much.

I didn't get a chance to get all the info copied that I wanted either. I don't care if they lock a thread but I wish they wouldn't delete it. Some of us are actually here to learn some stuff, too. But alas, when one is ticked off, the rest of us pay for it by losing valuable information.
