What Hatchery Does TSC Use?

Based only the above posts it looks like many TSCs may order from hatcheries in their general region of the country.

Mt Healthy in Ohio ~ PA & MI

Ideal in Texas ~ FL

Privett in New Mexico ~ KS & TN

Just for kicks I decided to go to Privett's website to see what breeds of chicks they have, and to my amazement, the website is bare bones - no info at all! There is a link to an order form, on which you specify your first, second and third choice of breed. But how do you know what to put down if you don't even know what breeds they have? I also came across a link that contains 16 reviews of the hatchery and was a little surprised by how many negatives and neutrals there were among the 16. Now I'm kind of glad I've stayed away from the TSC Chick Days I think (I really don't need more chicks right now but know I would be tempted if I saw them . Katy, do you know who supplies Atwoods?

Last year ours used Ideal.... This year it is a hatchery in New Mexico! Really odd, even the employees think so since we are only 4 hours from Ideal. No decent assortment this year either, just assorted reds, assorted pullets, next week is assorted bantams and cornish rock. That's it. Last year there were all kinds to choose from, was wanting the same this year

Yes, its the same TSC. And I was referring to Glissons. Did you get your 5 out of the pullets?

Yes, its the same TSC. And I was referring to Glissons. Did you get your 5 out of the pullets?

2 out of the pullet bin 3 out of the S,R bin. More pretty's and colors on that side LOL
