what house hold food is suitable to feed 3month old chicks?

Hiya ive ran out of growers food and dont have any money until Thursday to buy any more. So I was wondering what could I substitute until then? I have potatoes rice oats and other veg. so I wondered if someone could please help me out

You can feed them just about anything you would eat. And if you have edibles growing in the yard.

Well the potatoes do need to be cooked. Fresh road kill is a big favorite with chickens everywhere. You know I think that is way the chicken crossed the road... to eat the road kill.
