He was leaving the property carrying my favorite hattrick silkie chick.

Idont want you to cry, please dont. I ma sorry if I made anyone cry. I just want to make sure that we all double secure our birds. It's not the dogs fault. They were doing what they do naturally too I guess. Its our system that is failing that is becoming more obvious on a daily basis.

I am going to fight the system on this. If someone doesn't then what's going to happen? we just let it get worse? The system is supposed to work for us, with us. Not just get fat and lazy and try to find ways out of doing their jobs.

I am going to go pig out now of something seriously fattening and bad for me. Thinking a gallon of ice cream, couple of goey candy bars, big bowl of hot oatmeal for the girls, and extra spoons for them and the ice cream should do it.

Are the dog wardens elected officials or just hired on...

You have my deepest sympathy and admiration. I probably wouldn't have acted as well as you did when if was face to face with the dog. I love that your chickens seemed to be trying to cheer you up.

It's the owners' responsibility to keep them controlled, and that failing-it's the dog warden's duty to do his job.

Dog tracks and Fracks feathers at my fenced run gate.

the same tracks from my coop/run leading out of my yard

across my neighbors yard

Down the neighbors driveway to the road

down the road to the dog owners home

dog owners property line.. gee, dog prints and feathers.

on the road prints with Fracks feathers

from Fracks body in the snow (I am not showing that) to the farmers house where the dogs live. I did not go past his property line a second time. I had already been told to stay off his property the first time when i found the dogs with the feathers. Wish I would have had my camera then.


And I am told my our Dog Warden, that HE HAS NO PROOF????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
