What temperature do I need to set my incubator temperature at for quail eggs? Is it the same as chickens eggs?

A full run down would be great (lock down included etc)

I’ve got 50eggs arriving soon and I’ve only ever bought quail I’ve never tried hatching their eggs, so as soon as possible would be great, many thanks

@Nabiki has given you a good starting point, Everyone's incubating set ups will be different, according to their location. In general, 99.5°F to 100.0°F for the icubators temperature and 30 to 45% humidity during incubation and increasing to 55 to 60% during the last 3 to 4 days of incubation, (lockdown).

Two things are a must, are (1) an accurate thermometer or 2 or 3! (2) A salt test calibrated hygrometer. The sensors on almost all the cheap incubators are inaccurate and unreliable....do not 'trust' the instruments sensors.
Have any questions just ask!

I’ve got a Brinsea ovation and haven’t had any trouble in the past hatching chicken eggs in it with the humidity or temps.

But I do think that 30% is low humidity? When you google what RH to hatch quail at it says 45-50 and 60% lockdown - I might be completely wrong, what do you think?

As previously stated, Coturnix quail do best with 99.5°F and 30% Rh during incubation. Increasing the %Rh to 55 to 60% for the last 3 to 4 days of the incubation period.
Not everything you read on the internet is accurate, reliable information....that's why we are here to stear you in the right direction.
